Welcome! I’m Sebastian—a therapist dedicated to the belief that healing is an act of liberation. My work is rooted in a feminist, relational perspective, recognizing that we do not exist in a vacuum. As a Cuban American and the son of an immigrant, I am deeply tuned into how power, culture, and gender dynamics shape our internal worlds. I provide a warm, inclusive space for adults, couples, and adolescents, with a specialized focus on the LGBTQ+ community and those unlearning the restrictive scripts of the patriarchy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy is most powerful when it is as unique as the person sitting across from me. Rather than a "one-size-fits-all" approach, I creatively blend Psychodynamic insights with Mindfulness interventions, inviting you to explore the "why" behind your experiences while staying grounded in the "now." Together, we will gently look into the past to understand your current challenges, working toward a deep, lasting change that offers both relief today and resilience for tomorrow. I believe that our earliest relationships provide the "blueprint" for how we move through the world today. Using a Psychodynamic lens, we will look beneath the surface to understand the origins of your patterns and the unconscious "shoulds" that may be holding you back. My approach is not about "fixing" you, but about dismantling the internal and external systems that keep you stuck, allowing you to reclaim your voice and your agency. As social creatures, we heal in connection, not in isolation. I view our therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership—a "brave space" where your lived experience is honored and your strengths are celebrated. Whether you are navigating the complexities of trauma, the weight of anxiety, or the evolving dynamics of a relationship, I meet you with radical empathy and an open mind.
