Hi, I am Dr. Seima Diaz. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with an EdD in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. I am here to help you resolve past trauma, redesign your thinking, regulate your emotions, build your self-esteem, and establish a routine that brings expansion and purpose into your life.
My approach
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to best meet the unique needs of each client. My approach integrates cognitive-behavioral techniques, solution-focused strategies, mindfulness practices, attachment-based insights, and psychodynamic exploration. This allows me to tailor therapy to the individual, whether we’re focusing on developing practical tools for immediate challenges or delving into deeper patterns rooted in past experiences. I believe in creating a collaborative and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore, grow, and achieve their goals. My work is grounded in compassion and the understanding that healing is not one-size-fits-all—it’s a personalized journey that honors each client’s strengths and values.

I work with a diverse clientele ranging from children to adults who face challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, attachment issues, and self-esteem concerns. I specialize in teaching self-regulation skills and guiding my clients toward greater self-awareness and personal growth.
My first session with you
You can expect your first session with me to be comfortable and informative. We will explore your present concerns and personal and family history. An explanation of the therapeutic process and establishing initial therapeutic goals will also occur.
