Welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University and over 15 years of experience. I believe in the importance of a compassionate listener who embraces individuals as they are, free from judgment. I offer clients a nurturing and accepting space to explore challenges that hinder them from achieving their desired lives.
My approach
I use a blend of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and psychoeducation. By integrating these approaches, I empower clients to transform their perspectives about themselves, their challenges, relationships, and environment. This integrative approach has proven successful in facilitating meaningful shifts in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, leading to positive and lasting change.
My focus
I have worked with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives on topics such as individual and couples therapy, parenting, marriage, dating, sexuality, gender identity, self-esteem, and spirituality/religion. I take pride in creating a therapeutic space characterized by unwavering support and no judgment. I believe this environment helps clients confront and overcome personal challenges.
