Selestine Simon, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most challenging transitions. Since earning my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Texas Southern University in 2012, I have worked extensively with adults and adolescents facing challenges such as grief, loss, intergenerational trauma, post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, and family conflict. My clinical background includes private practice and serving as Chief Operating Officer of a Behavioral Health Agency. I have extensive experience as an EAP provider specializing in work-related stress and organizational restructuring. Additionally, I have worked in community mental health and YES Waiver services, where I supported youth with severe emotional disturbances and their families. I have also assisted survivors of major disasters as they processed trauma and rebuilt their lives after significant change. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey where you are the expert of your own story. My role is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can confront discomfort, gain clarity, and build resilience. Drawing from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and stress and mood management techniques, I help clients reframe challenges, develop practical skills, and strengthen their sense of self. My goal is to empower you to break free from overwhelming patterns, restore balance, and create the life you deserve—one marked by growth, freedom, and authentic happiness.
