Hello, I'm Selethia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate Degree in Behavioral Health. I have dedicated the majority of my practice to providing psychotherapy, and over the years, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of patients across various settings. My passion for psychotherapy stems from my love for one-on-one interactions and the joy I feel when clients grasp and apply therapeutic concepts in their lives.
My approach to therapy is eclectic because I believe in recognizing each person as an individual. I tailor my sessions to meet the unique needs of each client, continuously expanding my repertoire to ensure I have the necessary techniques to support those I serve. Throughout my career, I've worked in numerous arenas, including DCS, LTC, Corrections, Medical Case Management, Inpatient, Outpatient, SMI, Integrated Care, and Community Health Care.
While I have experience in many areas, my favorite specialties include trauma, diabetes, and other chronic health conditions, as well as Diversity and Inclusion. I find immense fulfillment in addressing diversity, women's issues, and trauma, helping clients navigate and overcome their challenges.
