I'm an alternative-minded therapist and wellness practitioner with ~10 years of experience in the behavioral and mental health field. I have degrees in clinical social work and counseling psychology with an emphasis in clinical mental health. I created my own remote and holistic tele-therapy practice (Savi Counseling Services, LLC) in early 2024 which allows me to serve a larger population of southern residents from the comfort and security of my home office. I am based in Birmingham, AL and licensed in both Tennessee and Alabama as a professional mental health counselor. I have a sincere passion for working with individuals identifying with ADHD traits and other neuro-divergent features, addiction/recovery, depression, anxiety, adjustments to major life changes/events, relationship issues, codependency, complex trauma, family conflict, identity development, and more.
I will make every effort to meet you where you are - mentally, emotionally, spiritually. I will compassionately guide you through the intricacies of life, to help you become the best you can be, and find self-empowerment in your healing and recovery journey.
Through trauma-informed and compassion-focused processing and awareness building, I will help you build a foundation for healing as we carefully identify the dysfunctional and/or maladaptive aspects of your life and then align them with curated and evidence-based real life skills and solutions to problematic behaviors, thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Sellers always makes sure my appointments fit my schedule and always makes sure to reschedule with me in a timely manner if something happens, reaching out and letting me know what’s going on. Sellers also is very good about keeping track of what was discussed the previous session and checking up on such. She always makes me feel very welcome to talk about anything and everything even if I am rambling about something silly or off topic without making me feel judged or like I have done something wrong. She listens to everything I say and always remembers details. She also makes me feel incredibly welcomed and comfortable as an LGBTQ+ individual.
