Hi, I’m Serena Diaz, and I help adolescents, teens, and adults across Illinois navigate emotional challenges, relationship concerns, and life stressors through compassionate, evidence-based therapy. At LifeStance Health, I provide individual, couples, and family therapy, partnering with my clients to better understand their experiences, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. In addition to supporting clients with anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns, I work with adolescents, teens, and adults facing ADHD, relationship challenges, childhood behavioral concerns, and other mental health conditions. I also help couples and families improve communication, work through conflict, and strengthen their connections. My approach incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and couples counseling techniques, while drawing from additional therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual, couple, or family I work with. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe that effective therapy honors each person’s strengths while addressing the barriers that may be preventing growth. I am committed to building a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, curiosity, and genuine understanding.
