My areas of expertise include working with children and teens to address a range of challenges such as depression, anxiety, defiant behaviors, stress management, lack of motivation, anger management, and struggles with self-esteem and self-acceptance. Through using a strength-based approach, my goal is to empower your child to recognize their potential and find hope, gratitude, and positivity in their daily life. Additionally, I provide parents and caregivers with practical strategies to navigate the complexities of modern family dynamics, especially in today's social media-driven world.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My role is to help your child/teen recognize and address these patterns, while also working with the family to support healthier ways of navigating challenges together. During individual therapy sessions, your child will be introduced to effective coping strategies for emotional regulation, learn ways to build connections with others, and work towards self-acceptance. In family therapy, I focus on facilitating open, effective communication and fostering mutual understanding, all while respecting cultural and family values.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session is tailored to each child or teen’s needs. Early meetings focus on understanding strengths, challenges, and goals. Sessions may involve play, conversation, or skill-building, depending on the child’s age. I work closely with parents to share progress, offer guidance, and support positive growth outside of therapy.
