Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m Sev, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over nine years of experience helping individuals overcome anxiety, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Therapy with me is a collaborative process built on trust, teamwork, and compassion. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and genuinely understood. Whether you’re new to therapy or returning after a break, I’ll meet you where you are and guide you at your own pace. As someone who personally understands what it’s like to live with OCD, I know how overwhelming and isolating it can feel—but I also know that change and freedom are absolutely possible. My goal is to help you understand the source of your symptoms so you can leave fear, worry, and doubt behind and begin to breathe freely again. I specialize in working with anxiety disorders, trauma, and OCD using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also integrate mindfulness and somatic awareness to help you reconnect with yourself and feel more grounded in daily life. Please note: I am accepting new patients for ongoing therapy sessions. I do not provide medication management support.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My clients often describe my approach as both supportive and empowering. I believe in helping you gain practical tools to face your fears, build confidence, and move toward long-term relief. Seeking help takes courage, and I want you to know that you’re not alone—together, we’ll work toward the healing and clarity you deserve.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first sessions will focus on understanding your story—your symptoms, history, and what matters most to you. From there, we’ll create a customized plan that may include exposure work, mindfulness practices, or skill-building strategies to help you gain control over anxiety and intrusive thoughts. I regularly check in about your progress and adjust the plan as needed, ensuring you feel supported every step of the way. My ultimate goal is to help you find lasting relief and rediscover a sense of peace, purpose, and connection in your life.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
