What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is an interactive, supportive process where you’ll gain practical tools to manage challenges, improve relationships, and better understand yourself. Whether you’re feeling stuck, burned out, or simply ready for change, we’ll create a plan to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. Together, we’ll create a safe, judgment-free space where you feel comfortable, supported, and empowered to figure out what works best for you. Congratulations on taking this important step toward positive change! I’m excited to walk alongside you as we focus on growth that feels right for you, deepen self-discovery, and make changes that truly matter in your life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In a typical session with me, we begin by checking in to see if there’s anything from your previous session that you’d like to revisit. We’ll also explore what you hope to gain from today’s session so we can focus on your goals. The majority of our time will be spent working together toward these goals. This could involve processing memories, exploring your thoughts and feelings, and identifying practical tools and strategies that fit your needs. We’ll end each session by reviewing what we discussed, addressing any outstanding topics for future sessions, and, if helpful, setting “homework” such as practicing coping skills, self-compassion exercises, or other strategies to support your growth between sessions. Every session is personalized to meet you where you are and help you move toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you.
