Psychotherapist
OR
Hi, I'm Mimi. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania. I received my B.S. in Applied Organizational Behavior Psychology from Albright College and my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Messiah University. I've had the privilege of working in outpatient behavioral health, substance use treatment centers, higher education, and private practice, which has allowed me to support people from many different backgrounds and life experiences. I especially enjoy working with middle adolescents, college students, and young to middle-aged adults. I'm passionate about supporting individuals from the BIPOC community and creating a space where clients feel safe and accepted. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and flexible. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques, tailoring our work together to fit your unique needs. I have a strong interest in addressing race-based trauma, family and relationship dynamics, attachment patterns, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience mental clarity and emotional balance. At Ponder and Process Counseling Services, LLC, I provide a supportive environment where you can reflect, gain insight, and build the tools needed to make empowered decisions and enhance your overall well-being. Outside of my work, I enjoy reading, spending quality time with my family, and taking long walks with my dog. These moments help me stay grounded, present, and connected-qualities I also bring into the therapy space. I value balance and self-care, and I strive to model the same intentional living that I encourage in my clients.

More information on payments and coverage

This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
