Psychotherapist

I help women and couples who feel stuck in painful relationship patterns: people who’ve been hurt by those they trusted, learned to walk on eggshells, or lost touch with their own needs trying to keep the peace. Together, we’ll untangle the emotional habits that formed in those moments, rebuild trust in yourself, and create relationships that feel safe and mutual. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in compassion. I use evidence-based methods that honor both the mind and body, helping you recognize what safety and connection actually feel like. I also provide inclusive care for LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and those in nontraditional relationships. Therapy with me is about returning to your true Self, finding clarity, calm, and confidence where there used to be survival mode.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is gentle, honest, and deeply human. I don’t expect you to have it all figured out. I’m here to help you slow down, notice what’s really happening inside, and begin making sense of it together. My approach blends Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic work, which means we’ll explore both your inner emotional world and the ways your body carries your story. You’ll learn to understand and care for the parts of you that protect, please, or shut down, while gently reconnecting with your natural sense of safety and self-trust. Sessions are collaborative and compassionate. You can expect a mix of reflective conversations and grounding practices that help you feel more connected, calm, and at home within yourself.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work begins with understanding what brings you here and what feels most important right now. In early sessions, we’ll slow things down and start mapping the patterns, emotions, and body responses that show up when you feel stressed or disconnected. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic practices, I help you tune in to what’s happening beneath the surface (like the parts of you that protect, withdraw, or overextend) and learn how to meet them with curiosity instead of criticism. Over time, this process builds more awareness, calm, and choice in how you respond to yourself and others. A typical session might include reflection, gentle mindfulness, grounding exercises, or guided dialogue with your inner parts. Each session moves at your pace, honoring what feels safe and ready to explore.
