Getting to know Shalanda Duperrier

Hi, I'm Shay. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts. I work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Outside of outpatient therapy, I run two structured programs. One program is to help clients increase their self-esteem in order to be the best version of themselves. I also run an integration program for adults with treatment resistant depression who are in ketamine/ esketamine treatment.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I love working with adults with depression, anxiety, PTSD, have low self-esteem or talk down on themselves. They know they want to improve their lives but have a hard time doing so.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In the first session, we'll start building a therapeutic relationship by getting to know each other more. We'll talk about your background, why you want to start therapy, and your personal goals. I provide a safe space to identify and process past experiences, emotions and thoughts you may be struggling with.
