Counselor Moore has been an Educator for twenty years. Seven of those years were spent as a classroom teacher and the other 13 years as an Elementary Counselor. She has taught grades Kindergarten, Second, and Third. Shalondra holds a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of Houston-Main Campus and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University. ?Counselor Moore works well with children, teens and individuals. She is a recipient of Lone Star State School Counselor Association 2022 School Counselor of the Year Finalist Award. She was named to be in the Top 5 Counselors in the State of Texas. Counselor Moore has received numerous awards for her contributions to the field of Education and Counseling. Some of those awards consist of 2025 Elementary Counselor of the Year, 2024 C.R.E.S.T. (Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas) Award, Recipient 2023 Walter Kase Educator Excellence Award, 2020 Difference Maker in Education , 2018 Girl Boss of the Year, featured in Who's Who in Black Houston 6th Ed., and featured in Shoutouthtx Magazine. She believes in self- healing and connecting with all. ?In her spare time, she loves to volunteer in the community with her church family. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and a Mental Health Change Agent for children. She is a servant leader and believes strongly in Mental Health as well as Social and Emotional Wellness.
