I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Counselor Educator & Supervisor specializing in racial and health equity for Black, and Indigenous, and People of Color. With over a decade of direct care in behavioral health and two years of experience in research, I aspire to adapt therapeutic approaches to effectively treat diverse populations; Understanding cultural, historical, and societal factors that shape the human experience, our sense of being, meaning and purpose, and relationships is core to my clinical approach.
Clients can expect to learn about and explore all aspects of their identity. They exercise autonomy as a means of being empowered to promote equity in the therapeutic relationship and in our sessions. Clients can anticipate that I as a counselor will seek to learn about and incorporate aspects of their culture to be both informed, sensitive, and to exercise humility. We will collaborate to develop and refine treatment goals, constantly seeking to incorporate client's individual strengths and when available, collective strengths of those they have relationships with. I will strive to assist all clients in self-actualizing, identifying meaning, and creating innovative solutions to achieve purpose.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
