My name is Shanet Brown, and I am a licensed LPC in the state of Texas. I have over 7 years of experience in the counseling field through education, practicum, and internship experiences. I own a non-profit focused on maternal health, child loss, and the well-being of babies by providing doula services. I am also a special education teacher for Killeen ISD. Currently, I am a doctorate student at Liberty University, pursuing an EdD in Community Care and Counseling-Traumatology in Lynchburg, Virginia. I earned my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University-Central Texas in Killeen, TX. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development with a concentration in Psychology from SUNY Empire State University’s New York City Campus in Staten Island. Additionally, I have an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Nassau Community College in Garden City, New York.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
