I became a therapist because I remember what it felt like to be a struggling teen with no roadmap for what I was going through, feeling misunderstood, and trying to make sense of all of these emotions that no one prepared me for. I didn’t want that to be anyone else’s story. That lived experience is what drives my work every day — and it’s why I show up for my clients the way I do.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Struggling with anxiety, past trauma, self-doubt, conflict in relationships, or stuck in an unhealthy/toxic cycle? You might be having intense emotions, inability to concentrate/focus, increased irritability or anger, or maybe you're unable to let go of something from your past that feels heavy. I am passionate about creating a welcoming, inclusive, trauma-informed space for clients to show up as their authentic selves, without fear of judgment. I specialize in individual therapy for young adults and adults in Ohio. My areas of expertise are: trauma, ADHD, anxiety, anger management, self-esteem, and attachment wounds.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach is warm, direct, and — when it fits — a little funny, because healing doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. I draw on CBT and DBT to give you real tools, but the foundation is always the relationship: I want you to feel safe enough here to be honest, even about the stuff that’s hard to say out loud. Starting therapy can feel scary; it takes great courage to work through painful memories and emotions.
