Getting to know Shannon Burdick

Hello! My name is Shannon Burdick, LCSW and I want to thank you for your interest in therapy with me. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I received my Bachelors & Masters degrees in Social Work from Rutgers University. I have worked in the mental health field in various capacities such as individual and group therapy, adult and adolescent PHP, substance use disorder treatment programs, as well as hospital and primary care settings. I have experience working with diverse populations of all ages and cultural backgrounds. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to comfortably express yourself and be met with compassion and understanding. Together, we will develop a therapeutic relationship in which you will receive consistency, empathy, and feedback that assists you in meeting your goals. I am very down-to-earth and relatable, as I have had my own experiences and challenges with relationships, family, parenting, and this ongoing journey of working to better ourselves. Let’s talk!
