What should a new client know about working with you?

I think most people come to therapy because they are doing their very best to manage the impossible, but it is not enough. You know you need help. I am here to help you reflect on what is not working. We will lay it all out on the table and figure out where it is going wrong. We will process the why. Why is this feeling overwhelming? It probably is for a very legitimate reason. We can connect the dots and develop coping strategies to manage as well as brainstorm ways to get more outside support. Then comes the change. We work to incorporate what you learned in therapy to your life. Sometimes this can be internal changes with new knowledge or a different perspective. Or it can be changes in how you communicate and relate to others.
