“Shannon is a very special person. She has a really good heart, and truly wants to help people. I like that she is interactive, and doesn't just sit there and listen only. It is an open discussion between the two of us. And when I say challenging, I really like that she gives me challenges and assignments to aid in my recovery. I'm so happy we are working together, and I know it will help with my grief.”

Getting to know Shannon French

Hello! My name is Shannon French, and I'm a fully licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with nearly six years of clinical experience working with children and their families. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento, which laid a strong foundation for my clinical practice. My personal experiences as a divorced, single parent to both biological and adopted children have enriched my journey and enhanced my ability to connect with and support my clients effectively. In my practice, I focus on areas such as anxiety, life transitions, parenting, depression, and trauma. However, my experience spans a wide range of issues, and I am here to help with whatever you may be facing. I am committed to fostering a safe and collaborative environment where trust is the cornerstone of our work together. My goal is to support you with empathy and understanding as we navigate your journey towards growth and healing.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
