My name is Shannon Gooch, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I have extensive experience working with adults, families, at-risk youth, and adolescents. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University and my Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University. My love for working with people and families in crisis has led me to practice as a counselor. My experience as a wife and mother has helped me become more relatable. Working in various practice settings has made me detail-oriented, forward-thinking, and thorough. I strive to provide the same level of service to my clients as I would expect for myself. I am well versed in my profession and take pride in my work. My experiences have allowed me to develop a greater appreciation for helping others define their meaning of life and identify purpose. I aim to assist you with identifying your goals and solutions in a safe, non-judgmental setting. I view counseling as an instrumental tool in helping clients become aware of their thoughts, find solutions to their issues and self-regulate their mood.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
