The transition to parenthood is one of the most transformative experiences a person can go through in their life. This time is both beautiful and extremely stressful. Whether it's your first or your fifth+ child, in today's world, almost all of us-both moms and dads-can benefit from some additional support during pregnancy and the years of raising children. My practice aims to assist you through all of the normal and abnormal challenges of this short-lived but deeply impactful time for ourselves and our families. While each individual and family is unique in their needs and ways they grow, common goals achieved in counseling include feeling more connected to yourself, your baby or child, and your partner; changing unhealthy family patterns you don't want to repeat from past generations; feeling more confident as a parent and partner; improving work-life balance; feeling more supported and less alone; developing your unique identity as a parent and embracing this stage of life; and improving persistent feelings of anxiety, depression, shame, anger, and overwhelm. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Pennsylvania Western University, which informs my compassionate and evidence-based approach to supporting families during this pivotal time. If you are struggling, want to better support a partner who is struggling, or would like to use this uniquely powerful time in your life to become more of the person you want to be, I would love to meet you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
