Getting to know Shannon Rebiejo

Welcome! My name is Shannon Rebiejo and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I am currently licensed to practice in Nevada and Utah. I have been providing therapy for several years now and I am so excited to continue connecting with others who are seeking support through therapy. I would describe my approach to therapy as person centered, meaning you are in charge of your plan. I am also integrative, meaning I use several therapeutic modalities in treatment. I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as well as trained in EMDR. Most of my therapeutic experience comes from working in community mental health as well as in the medical setting. I am available on this platform, primarily on the weekends. I am consistent and I take pride in dependability, ethics and relatability. I would describe myself as professional but accessible. I do not hold back a good laugh together nor do I pretend to understand something I do not. I am genuine and committed to getting curious about the patterns you are experiencing, that keep you from moving forward. I understand life can be so difficult, complicated, and confusing. I hope in our journey, we can find a path that will contribute to your joy, empowerment and hope as well. As a person, I was raised in rural Nevada. I went to college in the city and loved it but I eventually returned back to my roots and I have not looked back. I enjoy my family life, travel, crafting, reading, learning and music. My vinyl collection is a source of happiness and don't get me talking about my favorite chicken breed! I look forward to working with you.

Please note that after scheduling an appointment through ZocDoc, you will receive a follow-up email from me through Tava, where you will have to complete the insurance/payment registration necessary for our sessions. Your account registration is not fully completed until a valid credit card is placed on file for the entity to bill the deductible as may be required for your insurance. If your registration information has not been completed in the Patient Portal within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, your appointment will be canceled with a request to reschedule upon completion of the requested registration. ZocDoc does not handle insurance billing in its system and requires providers' fees for each scheduled initial appointment. Be advised that a no-show and late cancellation fee will also be billed when a client fails to communicate intent to miss a scheduled appointment
