Shannon Renzulli, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CT
I specialize in working with people who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, and other related concerns. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches in my practice. I obtained my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) prior to earning two graduate degrees from Columbia University: a Master's in Clinical Psychology and a Master's in Clinical Social Work. I am a professional member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA). My counseling style is warm, open, and compassionate. I take a nonjudgmental approach and aim to create a safe space for my clients to work on their concerns at their own pace. I believe in treating each person I work with as an individual with specific needs and aim to work collaboratively with each client to empower them to identify existing strengths, develop new and healthy coping skills, improve their quality of life, and find new ways to work through life's challenges. *Please note that after you secure your preferred appointment time with me, it will be important for us to briefly connect via telephone to ensure that I am a good fit for your needs. I will reach out via email to schedule a time for us to have a quick phone call prior to your appointment day. This will also give you the opportunity to ask me any questions you may have about starting therapy.*
