Hey there! I'm Shannon, a licensed therapist in Florida and Massachusetts. Woah-right! I spend much of the year split between the two. I have over 10 years of experience in the field, with a clinical focus on children, families, and adults. Because of this versatility, I truly love what I do! My outlook on counseling is this: you made the first step in reaching out for support, and that is one of the hardest steps! Let's work together to talk through what you are feeling and identify ways to support you. Therapy does not always feel easy, but you are not alone in the process. At this time, I provide weekly and bi-weekly sessions depending on what works best for you, your needs, and your availability! I find it very important to work together in the therapeutic alliance to create mini milestones to work toward and recognize success as you reach those beginning goals-then move forward and create additional goals! I believe the therapeutic process is meant to be interactive, and I like to incorporate additional modalities, tools, and supports that are available to you. Understanding yourself, the way you think, and how it impacts your overall body allows you to better process experiences you encounter and live a happier life while feeling that you are in control!
