Hello, I'm Julianne Toy (she/her), and I'm thrilled to be part of your journey towards better mental health. With a Master of Education from Concordia University and a Master of Social Work from Simmons University, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our sessions. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I specialize in working with a diverse range of ages and populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. I also have a deep commitment to supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
My areas of specialty include anxiety, behavioral problems, stress management, trauma, adjusting to change, and mood disorders. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, rational emotive therapy, and mindfulness techniques to tailor our sessions to your unique needs.
My counseling style is solution-focused and strengths-based, meaning I focus on your strengths and the solutions to your challenges rather than the problems themselves. I am a true believer in client-centered care, and I ensure that you are included in every step of your care. Working with me means that I will advocate for you and empower you to live a happier and healthier life.
