Getting to know Shannon White

I am a military spouse and mom of two with over 10 years of experience in the counseling field. I hold a Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University. I enjoy helping others find joy on this journey of life by building healthy relationships the right way.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In today's society, people feel the pressure to choose a side or struggle with what to say. It's hard to determine where you fit in or who to trust. This is not a way to go through life. I would love to help clients decipher what is important and refocus on those things that matter most. While we can't change the world overnight, we can help influence and change our environment and be a positive light to those we encounter. Life is a journey with ups and downs but it's up to us to embrace each day and use it to accomplish something new and choose to see the joy in each moment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My goal is to help clients find purpose in life through mind-body-spirit techniques, behavioral and cognitive techniques, along with overall wellness techniques. We will explore various methods to help get through stress, trauma, grief, relational issues, etc. to help clients reach optimal health, healing, and an enjoyable well balanced life.
