Getting to know Sharon Ann McDaniel
I have worked in the mental health field for the past 11 years in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Saint Louis University and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University. My experience encompasses working with many varied populations, from age 8 and up. I have worked in a domestic violence shelter, domestic violence hotline, IOP, and with the LGBTQ+ community. I have also facilitated support groups focused on parenting and substance abuse issues. My experience includes working with couples, families, groups, as well as individual clients. I have provided services both in the office and via telehealth. I consider myself warm, accepting, and compassionate. I am skilled in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, and life transitions. My primary focus is helping clients reach the goals they have set for themselves through treatment.
