Getting to know Sharon Baxter

I know starting therapy can feel intimidating. My goal is to make it as comfortable and down-to-earth as possible. I’ve spent over 10 years as a counselor, working with teens and women who want support navigating life’s challenges. My approach is informal and conversational—no judgment, no pressure. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you understand patterns, manage worries, and make practical changes. But more than anything, I see therapy as a space for you to feel heard, supported, and less alone. I became a therapist because I believe we all need help sometimes. Life can be overwhelming or isolating, and I want to be someone who helps you find your footing and become your best self. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at the beach or hanging out with my dog. I’m easygoing, and I want our sessions to feel like a safe place to just be yourself. If you’re thinking about starting therapy, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
