Ms. Bryant received her Master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Georgia in 1988 and completed a Marriage and Family Therapy Certification program in 2011 at Argosy University in Atlanta, GA. Ms. Bryant has over 30 years of experience in the field of mental health, substance abuse and developmental disabilities. Her clinical experiences include individual counseling, family therapy and group counseling. Areas of expertise include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, substance abuse treatment, developmental disabilities and Couples Counseling. She has practiced in a variety of community agencies and state regulated sites working with both adolescence, adults and families. Ms. Bryant holds the following counseling credentials: Licensed Professional Counselor – Georgia, and Certified Marriage and Family Therapist - Georgia.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our clinical services begin with completing a comprehensive diagnostic assessment to identify the symptoms and issues that prompted the individual to seek counseling. The goals of treatment are then developed with the individual and become the focus of the counseling from that point forward. The length of the treatment is determined by the nature of the diagnosis and degree of interference the symptoms and/or issues are having in the individual's daily life. Each clinician establishes a clinical partnership, while recognizing the individual's right for self-determination. Engagement and the building of a therapeutic relationship are of central importance in the delivery of mental health services.
