As your guide to achieving these goals, I bring over 17 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor working with a diversity of clients with varied concerns. I hold a Master's in Psychology from Houston Christian University and a Master's in Business Administration from Rice University. My goal is to provide a safe, collaborative space where you feel known and understood and where we can work together toward your goals.

What should a new client know about working with you?

“Change is painful, but nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don’t belong.” - Mandy Hale I work with individuals and couples to help them make the changes they are seeking in their lives, which may include relieving the pain of anxiety, depression or grief; reducing stress; and overcoming difficult relationships or re-engineering important ones. My approach is varied and depends on each individual client's needs and style.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A first session is about two things. First, we get to know each other and to gain clarity about what you'd like to achieve. Second is to see if we are a good fit. Are you comfortable talking to me? Is there an indication that you will benefit in our work together. Follow-up sessions will vary with your goals. You can expect takeaways from each session and, often, I will provide resources or homework to expand what we've covered in sessions or to reinforce the changes you begin to make.
