Psychotherapist
85 5th Ave, Office 908, New York, NY
In partnership with you, I see you as the expert on your own life. My role as your therapist is to listen with curiosity and thoughtfulness, offer evidence-based perspectives, and work collaboratively with you toward greater clarity, growth, healing, and meaningful change. I have a particular interest in women’s mental health across the lifespan, including the perinatal period, traumatic birth, parenting, and menopause. I also enjoy supporting caregivers as they navigate the often complex demands of caring for others while maintaining a strong sense of self. My clinical experience includes working with adults from diverse backgrounds who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions and stressors. I earned my Master of Social Work from Fordham University and completed graduate clinical training in adult psychiatric outpatient care at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. I also hold an MBA from New York University and a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University. I practice under the clinical supervision of Jessica Croce, LCSW.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, humanistic, and responsive to your unique needs and goals. I am committed to creating a safe, empathic, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and exploring what brings you to therapy. Together, we will develop greater self-awareness and a deeper understanding of the patterns, relationships, and experiences that shape your life. My integrative approach is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) incorporated when helpful. While we will explore the deeper experiences and patterns that may be contributing to your current concerns, I also want therapy to feel practical and relevant to your life today. Throughout our work together, I will meet you with curiosity, compassion, and respect while keeping your goals at the center of our work.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session is a dedicated time to slow down, check in, and focus on what feels most important to you. We may talk about something that happened recently, explore a recurring pattern or relationship, or spend time understanding thoughts and feelings that have been difficult to make sense of on your own. Our work will be collaborative and will evolve based on what you need. Some sessions may focus on gaining insight and understanding, while others may be more focused on practical strategies for navigating challenges in your day-to-day life. I will help guide the conversation while making space for you to set the pace and bring forward what feels most meaningful. Over time, our work will be guided by your goals and grounded in curiosity, compassion, and respect.
