I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York for over 14 years. I have been supporting children, teens, adults, couples and families, from diverse backgrounds, with a variety of behavioral and mental health concerns. My approach to therapy is grounded in evidenced-based practices that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Based Interventions, psychoeducation, solution focused brief therapy, and positive psychology to effectively address emotional and behavioral concerns. We will also explore creative therapeutic approaches such as ecotherapy, animal assisted therapy, art, music, dance and poetry. The good life is a process, not a state of being. I have expertise in supporting individuals/families experiencing challenges associated with intellectual and developmental disabilities and co-occurring metal health concerns. When I am not working, I enjoy the great outdoors, cooking, and traveling our beautiful planet.
