Getting to know Sharri Clonts
I absolutely love being a therapist. The most important trait I believe I can bring to a person who is suffering mentally, emotionally, and/or spiritually is unconditional positive regard. I welcome the opportunity to help you navigate the complexities of your mental health. I specialize in treating anxiety and depression and in helping people improve their relationships. I am interested in creating a treatment plan that meets your specific needs. Nothing is more rewarding to me than helping clients overcome challenges and increase their joy, satisfaction, and quality of life.
I have over 15 years of experience. I began my career in Orange County, CA, and have treated a wide variety of mental and emotional health challenges including trauma, ADHD, life transitions, grief and loss, self-esteem, and more. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Southern University. I'm trained in CBT, ACT, DBT, Mindfulness, EFT, and Gottman methods. I have seen firsthand how EFT has improved marriages and how the practice of CBT and Mindfulness has relieved depression and anxiety symptoms. My skill sets and natural ability for empathy and unconditional positive regard greatly benefit clients.
