Psychotherapist
NY
I work primarily with BIPOC women and men navigating anxiety, interpersonal relationship challenges and challenging family dynamics. I provide a space that is safe, affirming, judgment-free. I encourage reflection, self-exploration, and honest conversations—especially around the parts of your story that may have been overlooked, minimized, or misunderstood in other spaces. My goal is to support you in making positive, healthy changes that align with your values and support your overall well-being. Starting therapy with me means taking a brave step toward yourself, with support that honors your voice and your lived experience. I bring a calm, curious, and reflective presence into sessions, creating a space that feels safe, connected, and open to honest exploration. My approach is lighthearted when it helps and gently challenging when needed. I value authentic connection and meaningful conversation combined with warmth, humanity, and moments that help you feel at ease as yourself. Starting therapy with me means taking a brave step toward yourself, with support that honors your voice and your lived experience. Your first session with me is focused on getting to know you, not fixing or diagnosing you. You can expect a calm, supportive, and judgment-free conversation where you set the pace.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I bring a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to therapy, integrating CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based techniques, and a person-centered framework to support insight, emotional regulation, and values-driven change. I strive to create a calm, affirming, and judgment-free space where you feel seen, respected, and empowered as the expert of your own life. Grounded in both clinical training and a compassionate presence, I partner with you to build resilience, gain clarity, and work toward meaningful, sustainable growth. I’m especially passionate about supporting BIPOC women and men in navigating their experiences with authenticity and empowerment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I became a clinician post COVID after witnessing how the world had fundamentally changed—and that our emotional needs had changed with it. When you work with me, you can expect a space where you are the expert on your own life. The impact I hope to have is simple but powerful: to be a steady, unbiased presence as you navigate life’s challenges.
