UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. The great thing about a client who comes to my practice is that their needs are met through a team effort mentality. As a practice, we seek to create a teamwork environment when building rapport with clients. We understand that in working toward their goals of achieving a healthier state of mind and coping with life's difficulties, we must help them navigate the bumps in the road that come with this process. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville State University, which informs my approach to providing compassionate and effective care. We are a fully equipped telehealth practice, and our goal is to be available and accessible to clients no matter where they are.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The great thing about clients who come to our practice is that their needs are met through a team effort mentality. As a practice, we seek to create a teamwork environment when building rapport with clients. In working with a client's goals of having a healthier state of mind and coping with life's difficulties, we must help them navigate the bumps in the road that come with the process of meeting these goals. We are a fully equipped telehealth practice. Our goal is to be available and accessible to clients no matter where they are. As a practice, we offer two types of therapy environments. The first is that of the secular or professional approach. This means that our therapists use ethical and professional procedures to counsel according to all ACA code of conduct rules and regulations. The second approach is a Christian background that combines secular with Christian components.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When seeing new patients we asked them to schedule a FREE 15-minute consultation. This consultation is used as an interview process for us and the patient. This allows each party to see if this will be a great fit and explore what you want your therapeutic goals to be.
