I’m dedicated to supporting people like you. People who are misunderstood, hardworking, and willing to learn. Clients work with me because they’re ready for change, want to feel supported, and are ready to feel better about themselves. I have years of experience in helping adolescents and adults improve self-esteem, develop anger management skills, and learn to stop unhealthy thoughts about themselves, others, and situations. My approach to counseling is trauma-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapy. This form of counseling will give you a safe space to grieve, understand your anger, and identify change regardless of whether you have faced trauma or not.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My focus is to help individuals heal, grow, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and individualizing your treatment plan. I specialize in holding a space where all are welcome because healing looks different for everyone.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I often use cognitive behavioral therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and decide the most appropriate ways to help you progress. With CBT, we’ll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to improve your feelings.
