You’ve likely done a lot of work to understand yourself, yet you may still find yourself repeating the same emotional or relationship patterns. Perhaps you overthink, struggle with boundaries, feel disconnected from yourself, or continue reacting in ways that don’t reflect the person you want to be. My approach is rooted in the belief that lasting change happens when we understand not only what we’re experiencing, but why those patterns developed in the first place. Many of the ways we cope today once helped us adapt to difficult experiences. Together, we’ll explore those patterns with curiosity rather than judgment so they no longer have to define how you relate to yourself or others. Many of my clients are insightful, high-functioning adults navigating anxiety, trauma, attachment wounds, relationship concerns, life transitions, identity development, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, boundaries, overthinking, or recurring relationship struggles. I also work with partners—romantic, platonic, & business—who want to break painful cycles, strengthen communication, and build greater connection, trust, & security. For our process together, I primarily work from a psychodynamic and attachment-based perspective while integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic and nervous system-informed approaches, mindfulness, and other evidence-based therapies to meet your individual needs. Therapy is always collaborative, and I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to provide a safe, compassionate space where insight can deepen, new experiences can emerge, and meaningful change can take place. My practice is affirming of diverse identities, relationship structures, and life experiences, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Many of the patterns that keep you stuck began as intelligent ways of adapting and protecting yourself. Many clients come to therapy feeling frustrated because they already understand their patterns intellectually, yet they still find themselves living them. Therapy with me focuses on bridging that gap between insight and lasting change. Our work won’t be about simply managing symptoms or changing behaviors. We’ll explore the deeper emotional experiences, attachment patterns, nervous system responses, and protective parts that have shaped how you move through the world. As we better understand these patterns, you’ll begin building new ways of responding that feel more aligned with who you truly are. I aim to create a space where you don’t have to perform, have everything figured out, or worry about being judged. You can show up exactly as you are. My style is warm, curious, collaborative, and thoughtful while also gently challenging you when it supports your growth. Whether you’re working through anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, my hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel safe enough to understand yourself more deeply—and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change. If you’re ready to untangle those patterns, create new ways of relating to yourself and others, and move toward the life and relationships you want, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in your transformation journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first few sessions are focused on getting to know you—not just the challenges that brought you to therapy, but your story, your relationships, your strengths, and what matters most to you. Together we’ll clarify your goals while beginning to understand the patterns that may be contributing to your current struggles. As therapy progresses, we work collaboratively to explore the experiences that shaped those patterns while building practical skills to help you navigate life differently in the present. Depending on your needs, this may include developing emotional awareness, improving relationships, strengthening boundaries, processing difficult experiences, learning nervous system regulation strategies, or working with different “parts” of yourself through Internal Family Systems (IFS). I don’t believe therapy follows a one-size-fits-all formula. I tailor each session to where you are that day while keeping your long-term goals in mind. Throughout the process, we’ll regularly check in on your progress, celebrate growth, and adjust our work together as your needs evolve. Together, we’ll work to understand and transform the emotional, relational, and nervous system patterns that keep you feeling stuck.
