Shelly Collins, LPC

Psychotherapist
OK
My name is Shelly Collins, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Southern Nazarene University. I have worked with various populations and have a diverse background, including people experiencing trauma, crisis, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and relationship problems. I very much like a positive, direct, and open approach to therapy. I believe it is important to find balance in your life, which starts with improving self-esteem and practicing good self-care. I use a person-centered approach, meaning you are in charge, we go at your speed, and therapy should always feel comfortable for you. I work with children, adolescents, and families, and I hold additional certifications in domestic and sexual violence. I work with both victims and perpetrators of domestic violence. I also have extensive training in attachment theory and helping families regain attachment that may have been reduced during separation, whether due to divorce or child welfare involvement. I look forward to speaking with you to see if we are a good fit. You need to be as comfortable with me as I hope to be with you. Please schedule a consultation with me directly on my website.
