OK
Hi there, I'm Shelly! Hello, my name is Shelly Collins. I have been a therapist for 10 years and have extensive experience with children, families, and custody issues. I hold a Master’s in Counseling from Southern Nazarene University and have a certification in domestic violence and sexual assault response. I have also been working in crisis services for several years. I look forward to walking with you on your therapy journey. My approach I am very person-centered but do focus on attachment and historical issues. My focus I work with clients from infants to elders and will help you work through issues that may be current or from the past. My communication style I am very straightforward and hope you can be the same way. Asking for what you need is important to understand the why. My journey to mental healthcare I enjoy helping others, and at one point in my life, I had an amazing therapist who was very helpful but would not allow me to make excuses or stop working through my issues. My goals for you I approach your goals with you but will guide you when you come to a block. My first session with you To get to know each other and to discuss why you need therapy.
