As a clinician my focus is on problem solving. Finding ways to help you help yourself to reduce stress, obtain support, learn new skills to manage distress, come to understand the impact of family relationships and how this history impacts your current success in life. As people we are all unique. We bring both good and bad habits to our lives. Having a neutral individual to provide feedback on how these habits may have developed as ways to survive wnen you were young but are no longer effective as an adult can result in positive change and an increase in personal happiness. I have over 25 years working in the community and really like my job as an outpatient therapist. I try to help people come to understand what drives them and how to make changes in the way they interact with others in their lives as we work for success and satisfaction in your daily live. Sometimes it is just a matter of finding supports to make life easier but other times life can be a difficult journey to understand why and how you have to come to be where you are today.
