Getting to know Sherry Ash
As a licensed therapist, I take a holistic approach with my clients. Problems in the present may have multifaceted roots. It is important to consider how our bodies, minds, and spirits are functioning. With a background as a college psychology professor for over twenty years, I support my clients by applying concepts learned through that science. I hold a Bachelor's degree, a Master's in Behavioral Science from the University of Houston, and an MEd in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University.
On a more personal note, I am a Christian, and my faith is very important to me. I believe that our spiritual health is an integral part of our overall well-being. I also recognize that we are all at different places on our spiritual journey. I enter my counseling office with an open mind, ready to truly hear where my client is on his or her journey.
