Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day! Welcome! My name is Shlomo. I am a licensed therapist with over 14 years of experience in the mental health field. I am licensed to practice in both the State of Florida and Texas. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have also been trained by EMDRIA to perform EMDR therapy. I completed my Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. I have experience working with clients facing a broad range and severity of clinical issues. I have worked with individuals struggling with substance abuse, trauma victims, families or couples dealing with relationship and marriage challenges, and inter-familial conflict. Clinically, I have years of experience supporting individuals with spectrum disorders, obsessive behaviors, anxiety, and depression. My treatment modalities include CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Narrative, and Client-Centered therapy. I have worked in various settings, including community-based treatment, addiction treatment with co-occurring disorders, and trauma settings supporting clients experiencing PTSD and other traumas. I have extensive training in EMDR and have seen tremendous outcomes with this modality. I'm available locally for in-person counseling and teletherapy. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
