“I have been collaborating with Shlomo for a few years, and he is an outstanding provider who embodies the qualities of an effective therapist. From our very first session, we established a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust and hope. Shlomo is an active listener patient, compassionate, and deeply attuned to my background and personal beliefs. Under his guidance, my interpersonal relationships have improved significantly. Connections I once believed to be lost were, in fact, not. Through our work together, I have strengthened my interpersonal skills and experienced meaningful personal growth. Simply put, Shlomo is one of the best therapists I have ever had, and I highly recommend him!”

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am compassionate, caring and an active listener. I believe that our society depends on how we treat ourselves and others and believe one's mental health process is the foundation for harmony, peace and spiritual process. I was born to first generation survivors of Nazi Germany and experienced the difficulties with living those memories. My conviction to the spiritual process and my belief that there is a greater purpose then the self has encouraged me to continue to provide fellowship, support and volunteering where it's best suited within the community. I know that having mental health issues and life's challenges can be difficult. There is still so much stigma around having mental health issues, the process for getting help can be overwhelming, and it can feel so frustrating when you seek out help and it seems so challenging. I foster the approach of being compassionate and a person that's easy to speak to help support the joining trust that I develop with my client's. I have experience utilizing many approaches of therapies; however, these are the therapy modalities I tend to use in treatment: CBT, Solution Focus Modalities, Narrative and Structural therapy, integrative couples therapy, EMDR. SPECIALTIES: Stress, Anxiety Depression Bipolar Diagnosis Addictions Relationship issues Family conflicts Trauma and abuse Also experienced in: LGBT , Grief , Intimacy-related issues , Eating disorders , Sleeping disorders , Parenting issues , Anger management , Self esteem , Career difficulties , Bipolar disorder , Depression , Coping with life changes , Coaching , ADHD , Read more... Clinical approaches: Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy Years of Experience: 15

I left it up to my husband to find us someone who would be able to help us find a better way of communicating. Agter doing endless research something about his picture told me that he was the person we should work with. We have had two appointments so far and he is always well prepared and ready to help us strengthen our relationship. We look forward to continuing our appointments in the future but in case you aren’t sure we would give him 1000/10 as a rating. I mean from minute one we both separately felt heard and confident we found the right person to help us.
