What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer an engaged and deeply supportive style of therapy that blends traditional talk therapy with honest feedback, meaningful guidance, and genuine human connection. My approach is rooted in psychoanalytic work, with a special focus on trauma, self-awareness, and safely confronting life’s challenges in ways that foster empowerment, healing, and resilience. At the core of my work is the belief that truth has the power to transform. Healing begins when we are willing to honestly face ourselves, our experiences, and the patterns that have shaped us. Through this process, it becomes possible to reconnect with who you truly are and move toward the life you were meant to live. I often integrate CBT and DBT skills, strength-based and empowerment-focused perspectives, trauma-informed care, and Jungian psychology — including shadow work — to support individuals on their journey toward deeper healing, clarity, and personal growth. My goal is to create a space where you feel both supported and challenged: a space where healing, accountability, and transformation can coexist safely and authentically.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Your first session will typically focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. This is often referred to as an intake session, where we will explore your personal history, current concerns, emotional experiences, and any factors that may be contributing to stress or impacting your overall well-being. The goal of this session is to begin building a deeper understanding of your needs, your story, and what you are hoping to gain from the therapeutic process. From there, our following sessions become a collaborative process in which we work together to identify and establish meaningful personal goals tailored to your growth and healing journey. As therapy progresses, we begin doing the deeper work together. This may include reflective exercises, therapeutic assignments outside of sessions, and practicing specific techniques during our time together. Healing and transformation do not only happen within the therapy room — they also happen in your day-to-day life through awareness, intentional action, and the willingness to apply what you are learning in real time. My role is to provide a space where you feel supported, challenged, empowered, and safe enough to confront the areas of your life that are asking for healing, growth, and truth.
