Hello, I'm Shruti Tekwani! I'm excited to meet you. Together, we'll start working on your therapy goals and have you feeling more like yourself soon. An ideal client for my therapy sessions is someone dedicated to working through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or loss. I have extensive experience working with people who have a sibling with a disability and am also interested in working with those who have experienced aviation-related trauma or loss. I am certified in Choice Theory/Reality Therapy. I tend to take the approach of meeting the client where they are and what they are ready for. I believe every person is doing their best to get their needs met, and once we figure out what those needs are, it's easier to navigate emotions and the next steps. A little more about me: I was born in India, grew up in the Caribbean, am a citizen of the Netherlands, but Massachusetts was the first place I called "home". I have a sister who was born with Cerebral Palsy, and as a result, I have dedicated much of my life's work to helping siblings of people with disabilities.
