What should a new client know about working with you?

I specialize in trauma, grief and loss, and depression, using an integrative approach that draws from Gestalt therapy, EMDR, DBT-informed practices. I help clients explore thoughts, emotions, bodily experiences, and patterns as they emerge in the present moment, while processing difficult experiences and understanding how the past shapes current responses. Together, we build awareness, self-compassion, and practical skills so you can respond with greater choice rather than automatically repeating old patterns.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I typically begin by getting to know you—your experiences, concerns, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Early sessions are an opportunity for us to build a comfortable and trusting relationship while exploring what may be contributing to your current challenges. As we get to know each other, I work collaboratively with you to identify an approach that fits your needs and goals. Depending on what feels most helpful, I may draw from different modalities, including Gestalt therapy, EMDR, and DBT-informed practices. I believe therapy should be individualized, so our sessions will evolve as you grow and your needs change.
