“Sidney is wonderful. She provides an nonjudgmental space to work through problems and gives insightful suggestions on how to work through stressful times. She is very easy to talk to and easily reachable through email. She is compassionate and does not force “solutions” to “fix” a problem but instead works with you to find out the root cause. She’s a great choice especially if you’re a young adult going through life transitions. ”

Whether you need a place to process, vent, or just be, therapy is your time to show up exactly as you are. Exploring relationships with yourself and others, building emotional awareness, and navigating the complexities of life will help you move through the world with more confidence, clarity, and ease. What should a new client know about working with you?

I chose this field to support children, teens, and young adults in discovering who they are and navigating life's challenges. My approach is compassionate and non-judgemental, focusing on building self-esteem, improving relationships, and finding direction. Whether through play therapy with young children, exploring identity with teens, or guiding young adults into "the real world," I am here to help you grow and thrive. My goal is to create a safe space where you can openly express yourself, explore your emotions, and develop the skills to overcome any obstacles in your journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am passionate about working with clients ranging from three years old up to around thirty years old. I am particularly interested in supporting individuals through life transitions, social lives, relationships, family dynamics, and building confidence. For children, I am drawn to incorporating play therapy, as it is a highly effective way to engage and support them. With teenagers, I am eager to address academic challenges and assist in identity formation. For young adults, I look forward to exploring careers, relationships, and the transition into "the real world," helping them find their purpose within it.
