They may be self-referred or referred by a provider, family, or others. The client is aware of their goals and objectives, is comfortable meeting weekly for 50 minutes, and understands and agrees with the agency's policies. They also recognize and accept the limitations therapists have. I help clients create sustainable mental health goals and clarify their objectives. We revisit these goals periodically to evaluate progress or challenges. I develop skills to support clients' success, offering empathy, cultural competence, patience, and respect, while also challenging clients when necessary. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Boston College. My expertise includes supporting clients of all ages who struggle with Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, Bereavement or Grief, Family Problems, and Trauma.
