My name is Sierra O'Neill, and I am a licensed associate counselor (LAC) dedicated to supporting you on your healing journey. I graduated from Rider University with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I offer a warm and compassionate approach to therapy and look forward to welcoming you as you take this step toward growth, achieving your desired goals, and gaining a better understanding of your mental health.

What should a new client know about working with you?
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I have also worked with attachment issues as well as adjustment issues and life transitions. I have a passion for helping my clients reach their needs in the most comfortable approach that best suits them. I offer an eclectic approach to therapy.

It was my first time meeting Sierra, I was a bit let down as she seemed monotone the whole time we were having a conversation. This isn’t my first time with a therapist of course and I just felt like the warmth was missing which led me to feel like I couldn’t really open up and just wished it was finished soon.

It seemed like she didn’t wanna be there. The consultation was not professional at all and it was as she just woke up and entered the meeting. I did not feel like my emotions were being validated or understood. Throughout the meeting her face was down and emotionless. When the meeting was over she told me she couldn’t see me and that an another therapist will take over her. Like if she was not available then why this meeting happened in the first place and why it seems like she has availability if she is not accepting new patients? Terrible experience.

Any Medicaid service is always gonna be a lie. I want seen by the provider at all. They had me do a intake with a random therapist (not the one selected in the app) saying I may have to wait more than 2 weeks before being selected with a random therapist that I didn’t pick.
I miss my old therapist that actually helped me but due to our stupid countries policies they cut off all my health insurance and this is the type bs we Americans have to deal with with our health system..
